Normal operation was restored when the majority of the network downgraded to version 0.7 of the bitcoin software, selecting the backwards-compatible version of the blockchain. As a result, this blockchain became the longest chain and could be accepted by all participants, regardless of their bitcoin software version. During the split, the Mt. Gox exchange briefly halted bitcoin deposits and the price dropped by 23% to $37 before recovering to the previous level of approximately $48 in the following hours.

As of September 2021, according to the New York Times, Bitcoin’s use of renewables ranges from 40% to 75%. Os conflitos interpessoais são o “calcanhar de Aquiles” da grande maioria dos líderes, gerentes e chefes. Isso não é à toa, pois as diferenças entre as pessoas e os embates que decorrem daí tomam boa parte do tempo dedicado à condução da equipe, reduzem a produtividade no trabalho e, muitas vezes, tornam insustentável a convivência entre as pessoas dentro das organizações.  

Algumas teorias existentes na prática da Administração dão conta dos conflitos e propõem medidas alternativas para eliminá-los, reduzi-los ou pelo menos minimizar seus efeitos no ambiente organizacional.

Em geral, o conflito é visto como um problema a ser banido do ambiente de convivência e o gerente que não consegue este feito é taxado de incompetente. Em um recente seminário sobre Liderança, os participantes foram incentivados a listar as principais palavras e conceitos relacionados a conflito:  

“Problema”, “confusão”, “atrito”, “desperdício”, “briga”, “crise”, entre vários outros, foram alguns dos termos citados.

Como era de se esperar, a grande maioria das palavras continha um caráter negativo, drástico ou mesmo impróprio de ser descrito aqui e nisso reside a primeira questão que se coloca ao gerente (ou outro gestor qualquer), ao lidar com os conflitos.

Observa-se uma grande dificuldade das pessoas em geral (principalmente aquelas envolvidas diretamente no conflito) de ver na diferença de opiniões, de percepções e de sentimentos a riqueza capaz de proporcionar a criatividade e a inovação que normalmente nascem da tensão e do confronto, mas que se escondem todas as vezes que a unanimidade superficial toma conta dos grupos.

Em um mercado que exige novidades a cada instante, o conflito deveria ser estimulado e enaltecido como propulsor dos diferenciais competitivos fundamentais para a organização.

Assim, o conflito e seus subprodutos como a inovação, a criatividade e as mudanças, são banidos do ambiente organizacional em troca de uma suposta calma, ordem e tranquilidade apaziguadora, que uniformiza as opiniões, mantém o status da situação atual e preserva os paradigmas da organização.

Lidando com Oposições a suas Ideias.

Um dos maiores obstáculos ao fluxo da comunicação é a atitude de defesa das pessoas, cujas ideias e sugestões estão sendo avaliadas. Essa atitude de defesa tolhe a capacidade da pessoa para ouvir e considerar o que dizem.

Mas, se você acredita que sua ideia pode resistir ao rigor de um exame minucioso e imaginativo, siga as sugestões abaixo que o ajudarão a lidar com a oposição:

• Relaxe: é algo fácil de falar, mas difícil de fazer. Apoie as costas na cadeira e mantenha a expressão facial atenta, sem franzir as sobrancelhas. Convide as pessoas a discutirem abertamente suas ideias, pois dessa forma toma conhecimento do que os outros pensam. Quando você está relaxado, seus filtros estão abertos, podendo captar sugestões valiosas sobre como aperfeiçoar sua ideia.
• Escute: mantenha-se com as costas apoiadas na cadeira, contato visual e expressão facial atenta, demonstrando que valoriza o que está sendo dito. Não interrompa seu interlocutor, a menos que fique claro que deturpam sua ideia e estão desperdiçando tempo. Preste atenção às outras pessoas, pois se tiver que apresentar outros argumentos mais tarde, pode ser útil saber quem resiste à sua ideia e por que.
• Aceite: você não tem que concordar com quem o crítica, mas é melhor aceitar que as pessoas que estão dirigindo, levam sua crítica a sério. Mesmo que você não diga coisas que entristeçam os outros, pode mostrar desaprovação em seu rosto. Portanto, cuidado com as expressões faciais. Esse tipo de comunicação não verbal dificilmente faz amigos e influencia pessoas (pelo menos a seu favor).
• Faça de sua ideia uma questão do grupo: se você hesitar ao defender suas ideias, poderá se surpreender com alguém assumindo sua defesa; pois, provavelmente, essa pessoa não é sectária. Se uma ou duas pessoas lhe dirigem seus comentários e a discussão se torna enfocada e você deve torná-la uma questão do grupo, solicitando opiniões dos outros membros.
• Responda: se uma discussão em grupo ainda deixa algo faltando, você pode querer manifestar sua reação a algum dos desacordos. Mas quando o fizer, dirija-se ao grupo, não ao seu crítico. Lembre-se que você fez de sua ideia uma questão do grupo, não a aceite de volta.

Conflito Interpessoal no Grupo

Os conflitos são inerentes à vida em grupo e a escassez de recursos para satisfazer todas as necessidades gera conflitos intermináveis. As mudanças no grupo, seu crescimento e desenvolvimento resultam do modo como os conflitos são enfrentados.

O conflito não é danoso nem patológico, é uma constante da dinâmica interpessoal e reveladora do nível energético do sistema. Ele possui muitas funções positivas porque rompe o equilíbrio da rotina, mobiliza energia latente do sistema, desafia a acomodação de ideias, desvenda problemas escondidos, aguça a percepção e o raciocínio, excita a imaginação e estimula a criatividade para soluções originais.

Existem várias maneiras de se lidar com o conflito, desde a simples negação até a resolução adequada; mas o primeiro passo nesse sentido é admitir a sua existência e que é preciso enfrentá-lo. As modalidades de lidar com ele compreendem dois conjuntos de táticas:

1. Táticas de Luta / Fuga:  são as mais utilizadas, ainda que ineficazes. Como tática de luta, temos a competição e como tática de fuga a repressão e a evasão. A tática da competição implica reconhecer o conflito e engajar-se na luta aberta contra o adversário: no mundo dos negócios a competição é plenamente aceita como mecanismo de melhoria de qualidade, crescimento e desenvolvimento das organizações e do país.

A competição entre as empresas é saudável e estimulante, bem como a competição intergrupal dentro de cada organização. Entretanto, no âmbito do pequeno grupo fica mais difícil admitir a validade da competição interpessoal, tanto para a obtenção de sucessos individuais como para resolução de conflitos.

A tática de repressão se traduz no uso da força para aniquilar o conflito, com a figura da autoridade determinando que os litigantes cessem a disputa e, diante da ameaça de penalidades, as partes discordantes reprimem suas emoções, abstêm-se de discutir e controlam expressões comportamentais.

Um conflito reprimido pela força não desaparece, se recolhe ao estado latente; e assim que houver uma brecha no policiamento volta a se manifestar de forma ainda mais violenta

• Táticas de Diálogo: um grupo que se desenvolve como equipe aprende a utilizar outras modalidades de administração de conflitos chamadas de táticas de diálogo, incluindo o apaziguamento, a negociação, a confrontação e a resolução de problemas.
• A tática do apaziguamento pressupõe a ajuda de outrem na administração do conflito, abrindo espaço para o diálogo, destinado inicialmente a aparar arestas e dar a oportunidade do desabafo de cada um dos contendores. O apaziguamento propicia o encaminhamento da situação de conflito para uma negociação entre as partes envolvidas.

A tática da negociação não pode efetuar-se em contexto de fortes emoções, pois as negociações produtivas não acontecem durante uma rixa ou logo após a mesma. É preciso recuperar razoável equilíbrio emocional para encetar o diálogo destinado a explorar condições, obstáculos e alternativas de solução do conflito.

A utilização da tática de confrontação exige maior habilidade de negociação entre as partes e de quem eventualmente participar como mediador. Este deve ser alguém que goza da confiança de ambas as partes e funciona como elemento neutro, o qual se propõe a acompanhar, escutar e apoiar os esforços dos membros em desacordo, sem interferir no mérito da contenda.

O conjunto de condições que facilitam a dinâmica da confrontação é a mútua motivação positiva, o equilíbrio relativo de poderes entre as partes, a sincronização dos esforços, a atmosfera propícia à auto exposição durante o diálogo, os apropriados meios de comunicação e um adequado nível de tensão.

A tática da resolução de problemas se inicia com o diálogo realizando-se em duas etapas: a diferenciação e a integração; sendo que a primeira compreende a exploração de percepções e sentimentos de ambas as partes, exercendo a função de alívio de tensões acumuladas e de “aquecimento” para a genuína comunicação.

Trata-se da etapa mais demorada e decisiva na administração de conflitos. Se a fase de diferenciação for bem conduzida a fase de integração leva à reformulação dos problemas existentes como tarefa participativa, ao estabelecimento de prioridades e à elaboração de alternativas para resolvê-las.

Faculdade ou Pós-Graduação no currículo, um cargo de liderança e o patrimônio engordando. Enquanto correm atrás de metas típicas dos primeiros anos de vida profissional, muitos jovens não sabem o que fazer com tudo isso. Pesquisa do Linkedin indica que 8 em cada 10 brasileiros de 25 a 33 anos estão em crise. Esse desequilíbrio refere-se à transição da juventude para a fase adulta e ocorre quando as dúvidas da vida pessoal, como casar, ter filhos, comprar um imóvel ou aproveitar a vida, se juntam às angústias de uma carreira.

Segundo essa pesquisa, dois terços dos jovens adultos se preocupam com a compra da casa própria, enquanto 46% desejam um emprego pelo qual se apaixonem. Para Bruna Tokunaga Dias – autora do livro A Crise dos 30 – esse é o momento de tomar as rédeas da vida e escolher o tipo de adulto que quer se tornar. O desafio é conciliar as responsabilidades da maturidade com a liberdade da juventude. “É como se a pessoa não fosse jovem o suficiente para começar do zero nem tão velha para se conformar em ser infeliz”, disse ela.

Conflitos resultantes do amadurecimento sempre existiram, mas as mudanças culturais intensificaram as angústias dos jovens adultos. Até a década de 60, adiar para além dos 20 e poucos anos o casamento era arriscar ficar sozinho para a vida toda. Hoje, a revisão de gênero e dos papéis do homem e da mulher no emprego, em casa e na vida social, enfraqueceu velhos tabus e definiu as noções de liberdade e felicidade.

Além disso, a possibilidade de permanecer 20 anos a mais no mercado de trabalho – em função do aumento da expectativa de vida – mexeu com as noções de envelhecimento e com os limites profissionais. Antigamente, a carreira escolhida seria aquela por toda a vida e agora a necessidade de atualização é constante.
